How do classes run?

All classes run for one hour with a maximum of 8 participants per class.   Small classes allow for increased individual attention so please contact Supple Fitness to reserve a place. Classes are run in blocks of 4 week consecutive pre-paid sessions. Please note that these sessions are non-refundable and missed classes can not be transferred over to another block.

If you decide to continue after your first four-week block you have the option to convert to a standing order class system payable on the 28th of each month.  This has the advantage of two holiday classes and a set fee is paid each month regardless of whether there are four or five classes within that month.  It is calculated on a pro-rata basis so it will depend upon when you join within the year.

Session Fees 60 minute classes:

  • £7.50 per class with Sarah G (Evening classes)

  • £7.00 per class with Sarah G / Sarah L/Julie/Jo B (Morning & Lunch-time classes)

  • £6.00 per class Jo C Yoga

What happens if I miss a class?

Any missed classes if you are on the ‘Standing Order System’ can be ‘caught up’ by attending another suitable class on an alternative day providing two weeks notice or more is given & if a space is available in the class requested.  The ‘catch up’ class must be taken within a 4 week period.

How do I get started?

Prior to starting any class participants must complete a health questionnaire detailing any injuries or health issues.  Depending on any such issues it may be relevant to discuss your medical suitability with your GP before attending.  If you are new to Pilates then you must attend a beginners/improvers 4-week block first where the fundamentals and principles of Pilates will be learnt safely and effectively.  Alternatively you may have a 1:1 or 2:1 session until you feel knowledgeable enough to join a class suited to your level.

If you have already attended Pilates sessions at another venue the most suitable class for your ability can be discussed.

What do I need to bring?

Mats and small equipment are provided but please bring a water bottle.

What should I wear?

Wear clothing that is not restrictive but still allows your teacher to see your alignment i.e. not too baggy.  No specialist shoes are needed, exercise in socks (preferably with grippers on the bottom) or bare feet.

Please REMOVE any watches &/or costume jewellery prior to class as these damage the mats & equipment!!!
